CTECS is excited to start the new school year with you and accommodate your Technical Skills Assessment (TSA) and Workplace Readiness Skills Assessment (WRA) needs.

With the Retake Invoice, LEAs will be invoiced by CTECS for students not mapped to an approved CTE program. This may include non-CTE students or bad ISEE data. IDCTE will use May ISEE data and provide CTECS with this information.
Reminders
- Register annually (by Nov.) by completing the Test Site Administrator Registration and Agreement form. Soon after the form is submitted, CTECS staff will set up your E-SESS admin account and you will receive an email from esess@pitsco.com with login instructions.
- Returning test site administrators have access to student testing data from previous school years. Just log into E-SESS and follow instructions to “Change Organizations.”
- Refer to the Educator Portal for the FAQs for Idaho-specific information.
- Menu options to the left provide additional important details. Preparation for the administration of testing is a multi-step experience and requires processing time.
- IDCTE is your primary point-of-contact for Assessment and Student Registration Questions: Kyle Luchte 208- 429-5538, Kyle.Luchte@cte.idaho.gov
- You should only contact CTECS with technical issues during testing or with E-SESS.
- The testing process is set up for In-School Testing (IST) only. Contact Ken Potthoff kpotthoff@ctecs.org, if you have questions about Fully Automated Testing (FAT).
Workforce Readiness Incentive (WRI)–deadline is April 30 annually
Approved CTE pathways can earn incentives for the number of capstone students in the current year who:
Pass the Workplace Readiness Assessment (WRA),
Pass the Technical Skills Assessment (TSA), and
Earn all SkillStack® sub-badges in their pathway.
Workforce Readiness and Career Technical Education (CTE) Diploma
Students who pass both assessments may also qualify for the Workforce Readiness and CTE Diploma.

IDCTE uses ISEE data to create test tickets and rosters from October to March. Make sure ISEE data is accurate for grants and incentives. If your district has concerns with test tickets, please contact Performance Management.
