Overview

If you are a postsecondary instructor or administrator of a designated Idaho Apprenticeship institution and you are ready to test, please follow the steps for the assessment process by clicking on each of the main steps below and following the directions or links. Menu options in the left column provide duplicate or additional important details. Preparation for the administration of testing is a multi-step experience and requires processing time.

  1. Submit the Purchase form
  2. Submit the TSA form
  3. Register students
  4. Prepare for testing

Test Characteristics

  • Passing score: see standard of mastery for Assessment Titles below
  • 50 multiple-choice questions, online only
  • Timed: 120 minutes (2 hrs.). Accommodations add another 120 minutes to the test time, by request during student registration.

  • Idaho Electrical Apprenticeship I, standard of mastery: 63%
  • Idaho Electrical Apprenticeship II, standard of mastery: 63%
  • Idaho Electrical Apprenticeship III, standard of mastery: 64%
  • Idaho Plumbing Apprenticeship I, standard of mastery: 64%
  • Idaho Plumbing Apprenticeship II, standard of mastery: 64%
  • Idaho Plumbing Apprenticeship III, standard of mastery: 64%
  • Idaho HVAC Apprenticeship I, standard of mastery: 64%
  • Idaho HVAC Apprenticeship II, standard of mastery: 64%
  • Idaho HVAC Apprenticeship III, standard of mastery: 64%
