U.S. Economic Empowerment Project
Societal and personal well-being are strengthened when individuals have the basic economic knowledge and skills needed to thoughtfully exercise their economic freedom, thereby taking full advantage of a country’s economic opportunities and thriving in meaningful ways—that is, attaining economic empowerment.
The U.S. Economic Empowerment Project offers customized professional development programs for secondary and postsecondary educators as well as industry-approved certification examinations for high school and adult students. Programs are designed to equip educators with the content knowledge, instructional strategies, standards-based curriculum, and classroom-ready resources needed to teach economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship while preparing students to pass the aligned certification examinations. Accommodations are provided for students with limited education, income, and literacy. These high-quality education and employment outcomes enable individuals to make better economic decisions for themselves and others.
Ultimately, the U.S. Economic Empowerment Project strives to be part of the solution in reducing poverty, stimulating economic growth, and empowering all members of society.
